From someone who has used a few prams some just won't cut it on anything other than pavement or a shopping centre. I had a Chicco Travel System, it was only when I actually started using it I realised how impractical it was for where I lived. It was too heavy to push up the big hills round here (I live in Sheffield) and due to the state of our pavements (it's not just the roads in Sheff!) it wasn't pleasant to push even on a flat road. However, the local shopping centre, Meadowhall, was fine.

For off-roading you need something with big, pneumatic wheels preferably. Although for lighter terrain I have found the Petite Star Zia good. Won't go up mountains but it doesn't mind a few bumps and a bit of mud.

You need a pram with good suspension so you don't feel every crack in the pavement. The Chicco had hard tyres and no suspension (or if it did have suspension I couldn't tell!)

Buyer error. That pushchair is NO WAY suitable for an all terrain buggy. Not a chance.

Then to add insult to injury...the very first description of it on google is "ideal for fashionistas".

No where does it say suitable for cross terrain/all terrains in any description. Which some buggies will do. As they've been built for it. That definitely has not, you can see from a mile off.

You bought the wrong thing for your use. They could easily argue excess wear and tear. I would not go to court, no.

What an incredibly useful and well thought-out post. You must be so proud.
