RBS royalties refund

hello, thought id try for this and 2 weeks ago sent off the template letter, 2 days later got a text to say they had it and were dealing with it, phonecall on 30th may about it, refunded on the 3rd june, £1400 compensation and £513 interest, brilliant, paid off a credit card bill straight away! urged my mates to do it too, thank you MSE

I got a letter last week telling me they are unable to agree with my claim and refusing me a refund. I took the cover out for mobile phone insurance but when i tried to claim was told i needed to register phone first. They said i should have read all the small print in the stuff they sent me.

According to their website, it says:

You’re automatically covered but if your phone is registered, it may make the process quicker if you have to make a claim.
