Insurance Searches

Any impact on these insurance searches that are still being carried out at my old address? I moved last August, but I've still had tonnes of insurance searches happening last month that are linked to my old address.0

They have no impact and are generated by price comparison sites, they automatically search on the year anniversary unless you switch them off. Lenders don't see them, they see credit applications.0

And how do you "switch them off"? On using comparison sites (and I always do so with bogus information), the so called "permission" you give for these searches to be carried out must be bloody well buried!0 -
Log in to the comparison site and switch them off before the anniversary of your original search, has zero impact on your credit and means you get a more accurate quote.0
