i love being part of that community and enjoy the comping itself and winning is a bonus, as is being messaged out of the blue saying you have made someones day as they won from your post, someone once won a cruise from my post and it made me cry as they wouldn't have been able to go on holiday otherwise and their kids were running round the house jumping for joy. it's about that element too.
If it's not for you then move on and take up something else - totally cool. For me it's about knowing that no matter what sort of day i'm having, comping could potentially change it at any moment for the better.
Thanks to all who post comps. Best of luck to you.

It's a hard slog, I go through peaks & troughs of effort. When I need a wee boost I enter all the local paper comps/local radio & FB pages of local companies & theatres, usually something turns up to keep me going. Good luck, (but it's not luck it's a game of odds)______________________________________0

Gonna be quite honest here xxx Comping can make you feel very down if you are expecting the prizes to come rolling through your door
As with everything in life, once it stops being enjoyable then just move on.....One of the reasons I enjoy it so much is being part of this amazing kind community xx Everyone dreams of winning big, and yes-it can happen, but also there will be lots of people who go for months, even years without winning, then 3 might come at once!
People aren't really going to be sympathetic, as we are all in the same boat-we all enter competitions "Just in Case" Honestly, take a break if it's making you feel this way x0 -
People win everyday of the week, look at IWIW,
However sometimes it may take longer, my last win (big win) was in feb £2014.00, before that it was september £1000.00.
I have little wins occasionally, but its the knowledge that whether a week a month, 6 months even a year i will win another nice big prize.
If you comp expecting to win weekly then you shouldnt be comping.
Its FREE fun with a chance of a big prize, it dont cost anything apart from a couple hours here and there..
''If you throw enough balls, you'll win a coconut''Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -
I really cannot see the point of keep filling in stupid forms and stupid like and shares and retweets when you don't win. Waste of time.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I just comp around other things in life, If I win that's fab,If I don't I move on to the next day.
Try and enjoy what you do and see the win as a bonus
Good luck x#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Not everyone can win everything, thousands upon thousands of people enter competitions everyday, some luckier than others granted, but if everyone who filled in a form was expecting to win then we would all be incredibly disappointed. Some days you'll be lucky, and often enough most days you wont. If you're finding it a tedious non-return hobby then perhaps find something else to occupy your time? and who knows some time out might prove a bonus and a win might just drop in your inbox or doormat? surely every competition you've entered couldn't have ended already? Good Luck xWin Totals 2013 £3331 / 2014 £4815 / 2015 £3067 / 2016 £5617 / 2017-2023 £4106 / 2024 £2500 OVER £23K!!0
