Hi there I am looking for some advice. I am travelling to Brazil to be there for the World Cup finals and have been watching some if the documentary programmes on TV and am a bit concerned what the best way to get along there with regards to cash. I don't want to travel around with lots of cash so was thinking about taking a reasonable amount of Reals with me and possibly taking a prepaid credit card with a reasonable amount on it that I could use in shops and restaurants or by taking money out at an ATM. I am also thinking that I will take my own credit card with me but leave it at the Hotel etc to be used as a last resort should I lose my wallet or something worse
Have any of you any thoughts on what the best way is to do this and what is the best prepaid credit card to use in Brazil.
