Anpr-ltd help Needed

Read the stickys but insure about this one.
here goes
I was delivering to a address in trafford park, Manchester. When i got to the dealers they were shut for the day (arrived at 17:30) was told by a member of staff in there workshop that reciving yard would be open at 6am the following day. asked if it was ok to park outside there gates and was told yes its safe there. Woke up the following morning to find a anpr invoice hanging off my window. Now as i was not trasspassing as i requried acces to the units on the road Also no loss was incured as the bussniess was shut And no damage done. Due to the truck i was delivering worth about £140.000 I have to park in a safe place And outside there office was a safe place with cctv and lighting. Also as a hgv driver i am limited to the amount of hours i can drive and i did not have enough driving time left to find another safe place to stop.
When i told the dealers about my ticket they were surprised as they did not know anything about the firm tickiting in the street
So was wondering is it worth appealing against this ticket.
The ticket was for "no Stopping at all" to use there words, There were a few signs up but this were the other side of the road from were as i was and none by were i had parked,
Also as a foot note As the red est car drove off from the front of my truck after sticking the ticket on the driver sounded his horn for no reason waking me up which is against section 59 of the road traffic act (using a vechicle to caurse disstrass or disturbing other people). Wish i had got the reg number as i would of loved to see if they had bussniess insurance on it.

Welcome to the world of Trev the ex clamp, that is Trevor Whitehouse the owner of anpr ltd, they are the standing joke on this forum. They should not be ticketing on roads unless they are private?

Are you the registered keeper of the vehicle? If not you need to appeal this ticket now, use the appeal wording in coupons sticky thread, just change registered keeper to just keeper. Get a free proof of postage from the post office , and send online if possible.

Sounds like another Norris Cole self-ticketing for beer money. If you can conveniently get back there it'd be worth finding out as much as you can about the owner of the land (Norris may not have had the right or authority to ticket there, and may even have been trespassing) and get some photos of the signage (or lack thereof) in order to complain to BPA & DVLA. Not worth a long trip though, after all it's only Trev.

You should take the images down as it identifies you, though Trevor would probably deduce who you are from your first post. Be wary of these lot as they have this tendency to ignore appeals and go for companies that own vehicles. Ensure that you tell them in the letter that you have proof of postage. And email the appeal as well.

EDIT: No link to photos (as per advice by Stroma above and HO87 below), but signage and ticket all standard Trev stuff. Follow forum guidelines via the sticky and you'll be able to put this to bed.

Do check up on whether it is a private or adopted road.

Come back if you need help/reassurance along the way. As Stroma says, a joke outfit, so try and enjoy what can at times be an amusing ride with oor Trev!

    1. I have not posted the link as the ticket is unredacted and shows all the detail.
    2. The photos are unnecessary and clearly identify your employers and the vehicle.
    3. You might want to anonymise the account you have used. ;)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

    Here's where I first spotted his all-fated ANPR-in-a-Box venture:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4790402

Use the template letter in the NEWBIES thread (changing it to 'I am the keeper of this vehicle as defined in the POFA 2012 and...').

Or have fun adapting the one I wrote in post #13 here on pepipoo (where I post as SchoolRunMum):

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=80363

You can have fun with it. But be ready for their shenanigans and rubbish replies! We would fully expect you to have to write AGAIN for a POPLA code though, as they breach the BPA Code all the time. Be ready to report them!

Tell your firm that you have appealed so under the POFA 2012 you have taken FULL liability for a 'fake PCN' from a joke firm called ANPR Ltd who are not allowed to now write to the lease/fleet Manager but might try. Tell them to pass to you (for you to make a complaint to the BPA) any letter than might arrive next month after you have appealed, as that's how ANPR Ltd play the game (badly). They must be teetering on the edge of being kicked out of the AOS.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
