parking eye Newport Pagnell

Hi all. I've read the sticky. I'm sorry to ask but is it really just using the template you have done or does it need to be personalised? I don't understand and feel really stupid and if I had the money would just pay to make it all go away. Also reading this and knowing it will go to popla is a worry. We had broke down and I just didn't think about parking. Any advice gratefully received. Sorry for being a nuisance.

You use the template exactly as is, and send it off through the post from the post office with a free proof of postage, and electronically as well. All you do is add name, address, date and ticket number, and that is it.When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

ideally do it yourself
if not , use parkingticketappeals to do it for you (google it) for a small charge0 -
If you broke down, let parkingeye know in the appeal. They are usually quite reasonable about things like thisDedicated to driving up standards in parking0

Thank you everyone so much for replying. I will keep you informed.
Should I add a sentence "the trailer that was being towed by the car when it entered the services was deemed unroadworthy by the AA and was put on a box trailer to be transported."
Or just leave it.
We had been planning to go camping.
Thank you again.0 -
put whatever you feel is mitigating circumstances but as the third party (so using words like you used and not implying who was driving)
BUT
make sure you add it as an extra point below the ones in the template , making use the ones in the template are in there and above it
so as point 4) or 5) if you have another point 4)
4) the car broke down and ...........
5) the trailer that was being towed by the car when it entered the services was deemed unroadworthy by the AA and was put on a box trailer to be transported0 -
Hi all. So 2 letters arrived today.one getting on for four sides and quoting HHJ Maloney QC and how he ruled in favour of parking eye. The rest stating that my questions were of a generic nature - surely not! And to pay up.
The 2nd letter said if you had vehicle difficulties then give evidence. I can I've got the paperwork from the breakdown company but they then indicate the driver. Do I photocopy and tippex out names or leave it in. Thanks for your time and help all it os really appreciated x0 -
Your best bet is to go straight to post 3 of the Newbie thread and click on the blue words How to win at POPLA. Find the most relevant template and use it to form your appeal. You do not need to send further evidence to the PPC.
If they have not issued you with a POPLA code, then email them to say that you have told them all you wish to in your appeal and that they should either accept it and cancel charge or reject and issue POPLA code.
They know they are breaking the BPA code off practice with a delaying tactic such as this.
Also complain to BPA, details in post 6 of newbie thread that they have failed to respond to your appeal with either a cancelation or a POPLA code.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -

I would just try emailing PE a copy with the name covered with a little piece of paper when you take a picture of it on your phone. That could be sent tomorrow and then if you wait a week (NO MORE) you'd know whether the case is cancelled or not without needing POPLA.
Send the email to:

State which PCN and car reg it refers to and the date of the letter you are replying to of course. And just say:
Further to your letter, here is my evidence that the car was indeed broken down. As I already told you, the trailer that was being towed when the car entered the services was deemed unroadworthy by the AA. If I do not hear from you within one week - by Friday 4th July at the latest - that the PCN has been cancelled after all, I intend to take the matter straight to POPLA. The appeal will be made on the basis that your charge is not a genuine pre-estimate of loss nor 'commercially justified' and that you do not own the Services and that your signage fails to meet the requirements under the TRSGD2002 for Motorway Service Area traffic signs. I am sure you will decide to cancel the unjustified 'charge' but you have a week to confirm and to save yourselves another POPLA fee.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK but only get a free 'certificate of posting' slip from the PO. NOT Recorded Delivery, not signed-for to a PPC, they won't sign...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
