Npower Gas reading problems!
The correct meter reading doesn’t appear on the bill. I have had a total of 4 investigations with 4 people visiting to read a meter. After all this I still cannot get the correct meter readings on the bill. I have been trying to get this sorted since the beginning of the year. Each time I ring up the advisor tells me a new investigation is going to take place. The result of this is to send someone to read the meter I feel as though I’m going around and around in circles and nothing is being done. This problem is also stopping me from changing to a better supplier. All the serial Number details on the meter are correct.
My meter reads at 02322 and on the bill it is 09542 (Not Estimate as no ‘E’ follows) what can I do to get them to be the same? Also anyone know how I can get in touch with someone from MeterPlus?
I have taken Images on my phone of the meter every few months as a record can i use these in any way?

Hi,
If you want to speak to MeterPlus, they will just tell you to contact Npower as they are the customer to them, not you so they can't help you.
They seem like they are refusing to help, ask for a manager then go Energywatch and watch a quick change to your bill since they are being stubborn...:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
Just a thought - but have you recently transferred to them? If so, was the meter reading that your previous company advised them of correct?
I can only think that they might be having problems getting your meter reading to show correctly if they received an incorrect reading from a previous supplier. If this is the case, it might be worth contacting your old supplier and asking them to confirm what details they provided to NPower when they transferred your supply over.
If this isn't the case, at what point did your meter reading suddenly shoot up ?
You can complain to the energy watchdog if you cant get this solved by Npower, but it is worth persuing the above if it is relevant to you.
I hope this helps.I'm a nutter :j0
