Fidelity Charges Query

I am thinking of making a small investment into the new Neil Woodford fund.
I understand that the charge is 0.75 plus 0.35 (Fidelity's charge).
My query is, how do they take this? I know with the investment trust I have with them it comes direct from the fund rather than a separate charge and so I don't notice it. But how does it work for a unit trust? I don't have any experience of these:o
I am only looking to invest £2,000 and would really like to know what the charges will be over a year. If too much then probably not worth it.:(

According to Fidelity
"You do not need to do anything to pay the service fees. We will calculate them for you on the first of every month and automatically deduct them around the 15th of the following month. The fees will normally be taken from your largest holding by value within each account and will appear as ‘Service Fee’ on your statement."0 -
The annual fund charge of 0.75% is taken from the unit price on a daily basis so it’s not that noticeable either, however Fidelity seem to have a price promise promotion running at the moment which states,
We will refund you the difference if you could have saved money with any of our four main competitors.
*The price promise applies to all eligible funds invested directly with us between the 1st March and the 31st December 2014.
*Based on a comparison against the following competitor platforms: Barclays Stockbrokers, Best Invest, Hargreaves Lansdown and TD Direct Investing.
I know that HL say they have an exclusive 0.6% annual charge on this fund, so there is scope to reclaim some of the fees back from Fidelity if you think it’s worth the hassle.0
