Disney MGM - Mickey Mouse

Ok, this is going to sound silly...well maybe not but what do you think?...
Last week I look my 8 year old cousin to Disney MGM. She loves most of the Disney characters but her favorate is Mickey Mouse - fair enough he is on everything. So we have a two day pass and she is sooo exicted about looking for Mickey.
I swear ro all that is covered in choclate - after 2 days we didn't see him at all. I asked on several occasions where we could find Mickey and no one could help. He wasn't even in the parade.
I just find it amazing that he is the main feature of Disney, all over their merchandise...the blooming statue at the entrance. You would expect loads of kids to want to see him and after 14 hours of walking around not once!!!
Sorry, that just really annoyed me!!!

I recently went to Disneyland Paris with my 9 year old son and queued for 2 hours to get Mickey's autograph and a photo, got to the front of the queue and he !!!!!!ed off and was replaced by Pluto. Gutted!0

Happened to DD with Tweenies once, queued an hour to meet them, at which point they seperated them into 2 groups putting Bella and Milo in one queue and Jake and Fizz in another. As DD wanted to see Fizz and Milo a flood of tears erupted from her and about 2 dozen other little uns in the queue!!
We were told it was tough basically.0 -

when we went to disneyland we saw mickey and minnie loads of times and they were always at the front of the parade. Got photos with them, both disney ones and our own, in fact we regularly saw all the characters, I thought it was absolutely first class and exactly what i would have expected from disney
I understand ALOT more than I care to let on

We've been to MGM Paris and MGM Orlando. Seen loads of Disney characters in the USA park but like you very few in Paris. Also in the USA they make you line up to meet Mickey etc but noticed that in Paris it seemed like a free for all.0

Disney's customer service and service recovery is the best I've ever come across.
I know you can't get your holiday back, but how about writing to Disney, explaining the problem, and see whether they will send your cousin a special letter, card or whatever from Mickey? You may be surprised with what they come through with. I think this is the correct address:

Disney MGM is themed on MGM films. If you wanted to see Mickey, you should of have to gone to Magic Kingdom.(".)0
