Hi
Apologies if I am missing it, and if this is a newbie-type question, but I thought MSE had a thread giving the exact credit reference agency or agencies used by individual lenders.
Have looked (eg in this 'credit files' areas of the site) and can't locate it. I'm sure I saw one a few years back.
Wd be v grateful if someone could point the way, if it still exists.
Thanks JimW

I'd be surprised if any lender of significance doesn't use all three CRA's, I'm sure it can't cost much to subscribe to the services and when your lending millions of pounds every year why risk not knowing everything about your customer?"Killing Jesse James don't make you Jesse James"0

It may be but the link at the top of that thread appears to be broken
There's also this thread. It seems to be accurate in my (limited) experience but your mileage may vary.
By the way, you wouldn't have found it in this "Credit File and Ratings" section because it's in the "Credit Cards" section. This is because this section is relatively new to the MSE forums and the thread pre-dates that. In the ol' days most credit report questions were posted under credit cards.0 -
