Taxi rank at clapham junction?

Does anybody know where the best place is to get a taxi at clapham junction station? I'd prefer to get one at the north entrance but I think the "main" entrance is to the south.

A quick google reveals that the taxi rank is outside the station in Lavender Hill. It will be signposted so you should have no problem finding it.

I'd prefer the north entrance because that's closer to my destination and so presumably will be cheaper. I'm now thinking of just getting the bus (am trying to get to Kensington)

How about the Overground service direct from Clapham Junction to Kensington Olympia (or Shepherds Bush or West Brompton)?

In fact, I would probably do Victoria then District / Circle line before I took a bus?

As for taxis, how about one of those companies like Uber that hail a taxi for you? I think there are similar services for black cabs, also.

Most of the roads to the north of the station are blocked off, it would be just as quick to get a taxi from the front.

Bear in mind that in peak times / rush hour the journey from Clapham Junction to Kensington can take a lot longer by road than you expect
