A lot of nail technicians advise against Trind as it makes your nails *too* hard and brittle.

I use Nail Envy or Nailtiques2, or a Jessica one. If I am not using coloured polish I put a coat of Perfect Formula Pink Gel coat on top, it really protects and they grow so quickly. I am currently using a mix of 30% castor oil and 70% (approx) olive oil to rub into the cuticles and ends of fingers as I have a couple of nails where the nail bed is damaged, it certainly keeps the cuticles lubricated, much better for me than cuticle oil. Will have to wait and see if the damage grows out.
