OPI Nail Envy

Does anyone use Nail Envy on their nails on a regular basis? :)
And have they seen any improvements?

Also how often do you change your nail color

Have used it for years, don't like coloured finger nails but the NE leaves a nice gloss effect, makes them look finished. Highly recommended ;)

I have my toes painted and only have to top them up every three or four weeks, seem to last forever!

I do like nail envy, and I do think it works, my nails are soft and prone to splitting.

But this year I treated myself to a home gel nail kit - also has a strengthening treatment which I've found works even better for me. And the gels protect from splitting too.

I used to use it and yes it worked.

But, after a while my nails started to snap as they were dehydrated. All nail hardeners will dry your nails out. I did not like Avoplex oil that OPI sell.

I was later told by a nail tech, I have strong nails but they need moisture. Once I knew this I stopped all the nail hardeners and started using first Liz Earle balm which can be used everywhere for dry skin etc. Then Trind which I now get on auto delivery from Amazon. Their balsam is amazing, my nails are so strong I could use them to climb walls. I keep having to file them down.

I did use them until I left it off for a month and my nails were worse than ever. They really dried out from it.
Now I use Rimmel Nail Rescue and its a lot better on my nails, plus I can leave it off without my nails getting really horrible.

The Trind Balsam, I first got it on QVC way back then they stopped selling it. Found it on Amazon and went for auto deliver as it saved money. One bottle using every night lasts months so I only get one twice a year.

    This is it:

I've been using a sally Hansen hardener, but my nails are still so soft and they split easily, maybe I will have to try the opi one when my bottle runs out.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

I didn't notice any improvement at all. I would have been disappointed if I'd paid full price but I found it in a charity shop for less than £1 (still sealed, definitely the real thing). So now I've come to the end of my bottle, I've started using Eveline Total Action 8 In 1 instead. It seems good so far and has really good reviews, so I'm hoping it'll work better for me. Half the cost of Nail Envy, too!

Noticed that some of my nails are really sharp and breaking on some sides of the nail now.
