I must be the only person in the world without a freezer! Just got the freezy bit at the top of the fridge. Can you dry soft fruit without a thingumidoo machine? (Name escapes me:o)
Having a big garden is a right pain sometimes....I'd quite like to tarmac it all over and buy my fruit and veggies all clean and neat and uniform from the supermarket*
do you mean a dehydrator :pas that is what I use I used to do it in a very low oven or the range but you can also do it in the microwave0 -

so we went to both Home Bargains and BM and in the later we got his roller blind. which cost £25
Also in BM they had some very nice small perennials and alpines for £1.99 so I got 9 for £15 :T - yet more plants to dig in.
Then we set off for home via Sainsburys where OH insisted on getting the reduced pack of pork chops which he said he preferred these (tasteless, mass produced and full of water) to the Asda finest pork chops - I said he was ungrateful and other choice words - honestly why do we bother.
So just coming off the by pass and 5 mins from home he realised he'd left the blind in BM so we had to drive all the way back again - so a 20 mile round trip in all - most of the afternoon wasted in which I would have been outside putting plants in - dinner is all out of the freezer tonight - OK I would not have got my plants but I've got plenty to keep me occupied as it is outside .
Eventually we get home and he starts rummaging through the house looking for a tape measure, cursing and swearing. I've left him to get on with it.
I think he is going out of his way to be annoying this week, the trade off being he is taking Thursday off work so we can go out for the day so I have to just shut up and put up with a certain amount of annoyance.

I know if difficult but you have to have to just let go of the stuff that not essential to be done. DH has been chief cleaner for a couple of years as I have difficulty with mobility but while the cleaning is not my standard like Fernie I dont say word
Just look after him as I know he looked after you. I honestly think that poor sight is the one thing that hampers your whole being. I know it is cataracts I do read just dont always post0 -
