    It's been a long weekend for me and not without without it's moments :eek: so I'm going to bed.

    Am here if you want to chat some more savvy :)

    A song before I go ;)

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3iWJ47W1Ias

    No that's fine but thanks anyway:T.

    I could go on and on about all I learned during my bereavement period (over my mother) some years ago. I could write a book about it folks, I'm not joking! But I don't think that would be productive here and sorry no time to express and put everything down - and not needed in any event.

    So... let's get back to bright life shall we?!?:rotfl:

    (Was going to post a link to a song, may do so later, can't think of a song to link to at the moment:).)

    Or a wife. (Or husband, or partner, or anyone else.)

    As regards your substantive post (the 'gist' of the overall post:D:rotfl::cool:) yes I went through all of this and more during the bereavement. (Lol - I'm even trying to establish precisely the limits of where that period (the 'bereavement') began and ended. Am I still bereaved, 10 years later - even if it doesn't really affect me now? Albeit that it was life-changing for me. Certainly, death of my mum changed the course of my entire life thereafter, whether that went worse or better.)

    My mum died from terminal illness though - and I did all my bereaving in the dreadful period up to her death. I think some of it may have been the opposite for my father, and I know it hit him much harder than expected (and that happened from her death onwards).

    Do I very well know how much it is different for different people though. I went through all this during this time - I think as I experienced one emotion, my father went through another, then when I'd moved onto another one, my father was on the one I'd just experienced. So that period certainly gave me a very great experience of the fact of different people coping very differently. Although also, now, to me, 'interesting' (academically) in a way.

    What a very honest and (rare for you ) unguarded post. That's good, it's good that you feel able to talk about it in such a candid way :)

    ......and damn you, you are keeping a tired woman from her bed :eek: Well, you're not actually because I'm just going. :D Goodnight and will catch up with you tomorrow :)

    Equaliser again (keep up folks!) - right at the very end of the match! Portugal equalising.

    :rotfl::rotfl:The face on the American coach there just made me laugh! I suspect I just love watching people's faces...:rotfl::rotfl: (and an extra :rotfl: with regards to my Asperger's condition).

    [Edit: Sorry about that, USA. I was hoping USA would win in fact. But the face was a picture and - I know I shouldn't say this:eek: - I just enjoy the disappointment of others.]:eek::eek: I know I shouldn't!

    Just not fair is it? To fail to win in the last few seconds. How many goals have there been in this World Cup now? (It is giving some interesting matches.)

    Oh, they're playing that horrible song in the background on the World Cup now (trust me to notice that, to dredge it up from its extreme quiet playing) - so I'm going. I think I'll have to switch it off now... Horrible, nasty, insidious recording.

    Arrrgghh - it's in my head, round and round!! :mad::mad:I'm going to have to replace it with something else - that cannot be the last thing I hear. Arrrgghhh!! Doing my head in - off to youtube - perhaps for Scatman John:D - ah, that's much better!!:)

    Go away... I'm still getting that repeat of the unliked song, just dreadful, really problematic...
    Argghh!!! It's there again! Arrghh- mad mad mad!
    [Edit: Arghhh again! I am having a bad time with it. Is there any way to stop it? I've already ceased listening to the radio for the last 15 years. The whole problem - I have it with every radio/television-playlisted record made in the last 15 or so years - stopped once I managed successfully to avoid entirely and completely ever hearing any nanosecond of the songs. But, here it is, still now failed to avoid it! So the problem now starts once again...]

    Apparently they had one guy in some country who reported severe physical depression and adverse effects - they tried everything - and even the strongest psychedelic [not sure if I'm spelling it correctly, but who cares?] drugs still failed to remove the distressing repetitive thoughts of the 'music' playing over and over again. Might go and have a look for that journal article now...:rotfl:. I really need to get that blasted song out of my head. (And not in a way that now manages to replace it with that insidious nuisance from Kylie Minogue, sorry folks if I've now done that to you if you don't like it either...)

    Oh well - goodnight!!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Grrr... song from the TV background just now replaying again (in my mind)!:mad::mad: (And yes, it has played again, and then again, so it is correct to say "replayed" "again".)

    Oh sorry folks - I'm just posting uselessly now, so I'm going! See ya!!:):D (Even if, till further notice, you can take it that the nasty song is playing again once further in addition to the above occasion. Wish I had known in advance to press the mute button and prevent it entirely. There was never any forewarning about it - and yet, to me, it is far more distressing than anything I've seen that has been prewarned. Distressing may be too strong a word - but yes, very internally irritating.) But, for me, they'd then have to give a warning about the song without giving a warning about the song, as any reference to it or mention of title or any lyrics would still draw the same blasted thing to mind just as effectively and still fail to prevent the problem from arising.

    (Argghh!!!:mad::mad::mad:)
    And now, at this stage - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    :question:How many minutes has it now been since the song was on and since the programme ended?!? Still causing mild irritation even this long afterwards! [Edit: I did, actually, have to switch the television off and left the programme before it has presumably now ended.]

    At last! This has now been replaced by this other song:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZSnoaLWCVU
    (Not the advert music at the beginning, but the one in the substantive video.)

    It is *not* the original mix of that song though, contrary to what it says, but it's the Ferry Corsten Radio Edit instead*. Completely different as the original mix was more a minimalistic affair. At last - I have a nice tune in my head to go to bed to!!:):):):):):T:T Hope it persists - just remind me never to read my earlier posts ever again, as the previous song will come to mind and I'll be stuck with numerous problems thereafter. Just need to keep avoiding thinking about the thing I am trying to avoid thinking about but still writing on and thus risking starting to think about once more. Keep on Veracocha!!:) Off to YT to listen to it and forget about here!!:rotfl::j:j:D:wave::A

    *A matter that would be infuriating but for the fact that I do not allow it to be so!
