 Good evening to everyone.
I do hope everyone has had a good weekend. Hugs to anyone who needs or wants them.
We have had a fab day today. We managed to get the kids up before lunch today and went to Whitstable. It was lovely.
As we were walking along by the harbour a Lancaster bomber and 2 spitfires flew past, I don't know where from but they flew over twice.
It was really nice walking around and even the children enjoyed themselves so all in all a fab day:)SPC 11 #4450 -

Tried that, apparently it is not anti social behaviour
Oh that makes it a bit more difficult. If it was council owned you'd have had more luck asking them to provide deterrents and not being liable for repairs if they didn't.
I'm pretty sure that if it's your property you can use 'reasonable' deterrents to prevent damage as long as you provide adequate signs that state what people can't do and what deterrents are in place to prevent it.
It's also worth finding out a bit more about trespass laws. If that applies, you've always got the option of getting the police involved. I don't know too much about that, I'm afraid. A free half hour with a lawyer who does might help a little though? I do hope you get it sorted, what a total pain0 -

Then we would be the local pariahs! Unfortunately they do live nearby, we just don't know where and they won't tell us, and there's some parents with bad attitudes around here.calmspirit wrote: »frustrating

Thank youSunshinemummy wrote: »What about contacting the local school... they maybe able to help.
Again, would need to know who they are, and they move quick when they need to.
I think next time I see them on the wall, if ever, I will be taking pictures (I know I can do that so long as I am on our land, have been forced into it before with kids messing around by the cars)
I shall wait and see what our councillor says about preventative measures, but is it awful to say that I hope they were on it when they went and had a very bruised egoI don't want them seriously injured, I want them wishing they had listened to me and the others that had been nagging them to get off the wall
I am off to bed soon so signing off now, night all, behave yourselves nightshiftWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Hi does my latest avatar suit you betterEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Anyone know how to stop a load of kids kicking a ball against the wall! We have a block of garages that is separated from the nearby road by a high wall. Today part of the top of it came down, no idea if the kids were on it at the time (they also climb it and come into the private garage are to retrieve balls they kick over), and there is a crack up the middle of it where it has been weakened by the ball. It is only one skin thick and if I have told them and asked them to stop climbing on it I have told them a thousand times. I have asked the council if it is legal to put pigeon spikes on it, will have to wait and see what they say. The annoying thing is that we have to pay for it (it is split 11 ways though).“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
