Anyone know how to stop a load of kids kicking a ball against the wall! We have a block of garages that is separated from the nearby road by a high wall. Today part of the top of it came down, no idea if the kids were on it at the time (they also climb it and come into the private garage are to retrieve balls they kick over), and there is a crack up the middle of it where it has been weakened by the ball. It is only one skin thick and if I have told them and asked them to stop climbing on it I have told them a thousand times. I have asked the council if it is legal to put pigeon spikes on it, will have to wait and see what they say. The annoying thing is that we have to pay for it (it is split 11 ways though).

Who owns it? The council? If so, have you reported it/complained about it to them?

Very wise getting advice about the pigeon spikes, as if anyone were to get hurt (or claim to have been hurt) by them, that could land you in hot water. I expect this might be the reply you get from the council.

Unfortunately it is jointly owned by the owners of the garages, that is 11 of us neighbours.
Your council will have an anti-social behaviour team, they maybe able to help.

Tried that, apparently it is not anti social behaviour

It is a bunch of kids that seem to think they can get away with anything, we can't find out who the parents are and suspect all sorts of accusations would fly if we tried following them home.

Still, one good thing, hopefully they won't be on it for a while :) If they are they would be absolute idiots.

Mr TM is finalising arrangements for his trip to the Tour as we speak. He will be away for a couple of nights which means that I can eat crisps in bed:j:j:j

I will be doing that tonight too - eating crisps in bed. I've had really bad hayfever all day and I am feeling very sorry for myself so have decided to indulge in bed. Stupid me was smelling roses in the garden with the kids. Totally forgot about my hayfever! I have been sneezing and coughing and eyes have been running all day.

    I want my MOM! :(:(:(
