Well if I ever get piddled enough to drink the Liebfraumilch from Ts mystery box that's lurking in the shed....someone shoot me! :rotfl::rotfl:

2 of my bottles of mystery whites were a Spanish wine that !!!!!! reduced to £2.50 a bottle in the summer of 2012 to get rid of so goodness knows where they had been in the last 18 months :rotfl:

Anyway after a huge amount of sifting through bottles we found them and they were drunk and no one was ill afterwards.

We have now drunk everything that is under £5.50 a bottle in real money so it is really a test of nerves now as we are progressing through the more expensive wines - amusing that our wine can often be worth more than the cost of the meal :D

Ive got them separated into northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere bottles so I can hang onto my fav NZ whites for as long as possible :)

(Yes I have an excel chart with names, region, types, price etc - well of course you would expect me to have a chart :)

Our wine rack would give you nightmares :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: A bunch of rose I got from Tesco on a FloFlo, various different ones I got with various meals, home made ones, ones given to us, several different (proper) champagnes, all mixed together, some is even still in boxes as we can't fit it in the rack :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Would this person be willing to complain about the planned estate on the same grounds?

We tried to stop Lidl opening up at the bottom of the road we have to use to get to the road our road is off. It is dreadful there, people think the lights at the junction are purely for the Lidl traffic, the amount of times we have had near misses, even the local councillor has had problems :eek: Had an argument with someone today, I was on my pushbike trying to go up our the lane, I was indicating left at the junction as was the car behind me, I turned and tried to go up the road at which time the driver behind me tried to turn left into me, he stopped the car and yelled at me for cycling in the middle of the road, told him I was trying to get up the road, he said but you were indicating left, I said and I am going left, he reckoned the only left turn was into Lidl :eek: Forced him into waiting while I crossed the Lidl road to go up the lane. Getting utterly fed up of people just not thinking that people use the lane, several hundred residents use it on a regular basis

We are very fortunate to have a very excellent MP and any problems that need addressing we can leave a message on his webpage and someone from the local office rings you back - I had to do this about another matter earlier in the week and I got a call back within hours.
So it might be worthwhile finding the webpage for your MP and explaining what is happening with your road problems.
Our MP is also dealing with the imminent crisis re the planning applications around here and acting on our behalf - very hands on.
The chap with the drive has put in his objection already - some good points but it turned into a rant so his very valid point got muddled up on the way.

He does know "fetch", but gets bored quickly, have a ball thrower, we throw it, he runs for it, then gets sidetracked and runs another way :( or gets it then drops straight away. He is better with one of his toys, if we throw he will fetch it and bring it back, doesnt always drop wants to play tug with it though.

He does sit, stand, and gives his paw.

I just cant understand why he just leaps at me, for no apparent reason, its not all the time, but would like him not to do it when he does it.

Some good advice already given :) I'd like to add by saying dogs like simple commands such as "off" or "away" in a firm voice, reinforced by pushing him away at the same time. It doesn't matter which word you choose as long as you consistently use the same word for the same request, they will learn what this means. You need to have confidence in yourself as pack leader because otherwise a dog will sense you're unsure and may choose to ignore. Some people are not very good at this but dog training classes will help to perfect these techniques :)

Yes you def need a system, start with an excel chart
    - the cheap and cheerfulls need to be drunk within the year eg home made, meal deal wines and Tesco Finest.
And separate anything for parties and gifts or special occasions so they don't get drunk by accident

I wish I had a cellar though, in the meantime under the dining room table has to do :D
