I've never been aware of the bacon comparing vs Morries. As far as I know it's always been vs T only from the start. It looks like you got your shop mixed up - bacon is vs T - are you saying (I presume you are) that this does compare to T at 81p each (above is Morries comp and showing N/A)?

Anyone got Desiree Potatoes vs T showing £1 today? I'm desperate for them with two boxes of Pringles, to do tonight, as not wanting to have to do two shops and find the cost of yet more fillers. Is this too early for the potatoes to compare properly? TIA! And - are the Pringles 2 for £2.50 - TIA!:rotfl::rotfl:

For the ladies or men if they choose .

They ve got some nice bra and knickers sets in Primark some £3 and some £4.

I always believed I was a 38d the last year or so but when I went to Debenhams in Liverpool I got measured and she came up with 34 f . I liked the 34 bit lol but not so much the f.

It just goes to show you how sizes differ in certain shops. When I went to BHS after I was measured at 36 dd.:) . Now those cheap sets in Primark only go up to a 36d and I've always avoided them thinking they wouldn t fit properly. Anyway they do so I bought some :D

For distraction I have just started to look at the planning application our local council has put in for building a small estate close to us - actually its in 2 halves with a industrial lorry park in the middle and a pub on the outer edge.

The main road (40mph speed) comes off the by pass towards town then does a sharp right hand bend and narrows for a few yards and then does a sharp left hand bend and then the road goes along under a low rail bridge and into town. Its in the field in the mid section that they are building.

Yes the narrowed bit where the huge articulated lorries squeeze along to turn on and off forcing cyclists and walkers into the hedge.

Quite a few of the application pages wont open for me  so I am hoping that OH will print them off at work.

But I did get the travel plan frame work to open and now there seems to be an imaginary 10 minute walking circle around any development to make it sustainable.

    Who invented this imaginary circle?

so it says that shops are within range but I've used google maps and Nisa is 15 mins and there is an off license in the other direction which is about the same. There is no mention of the doctors, dentists, train station etc - all these far more than 10 mins away.
Apparently the YMCA is within 10 mins though - its not and anyway what would the normal everyday usage of the YMCA be?

The worst bit though is schools. There is no mention of location of high schools - not sure what the high school would be as this estate is between 2 but both are about 25 to 30 mins walk.

It also names what it thinks would be the catchment area primary school - again there are 3 so it could be any of them. It says its within a 10 minute walk and using google maps its easily 25 mins to 30 mins (assuming that you can even get across the dreadful 40mph road with articulated trucks) and the route is either along our lane - no pavements, no street lights, accident black spot or through another estate but access is under the rail bridge, along an unlit back route.

before I start a proper rant id better go and do something useful :)

It took us 3 years to get planning permission.... I officially do not like planners! The government inspector when she did a site visit, was excellent and told the head of the planning dept. who also attended that she had no idea why they refused permission and it was an excellent design.... but no way to get the additional £25,000 back that they costs us! I love having a rant about the planners!

May have been reported already but some Fruit Shoot reduced in A - marked Low Sugar under Fruit Shoot logo (slightly different packaging). Blackcurrant 8 pack £1. Orange 15x200ml £1.50, may be others but shelf stripped in my store apart from a couple hidden in the new stock.

    Ahh!!
No, sorry, you might not fully be aware - do not rely on msm for M prices as APG uses instore collection for M.

That said, there are 'one or two' items in M that my own price collecting misses, mainly because of my feeling of 'msm is there as a back-up anyway'. These are usually items that are on unwanted r'back in A and thus not good anyway. I want full prices and mbuy to glitch. So some may be found on msm and may compare on the APG, additional to my list. I'd rely on my list (I would say that wouldn't I? - but people here will doubtless tell you it is more reliable than msm.co.uk) - the whole point of why I'd gone back, eventually, after a few months, to getting prices from instore is because msm.co.uk is so unreliable (due to the different source that the APG uses for M prices) on the APG's M prices and due to so many items not showing on M's own website and thus not appearing on msm - there is perhaps around a quarter of the price information for M totally missing from msm.

That 'quarter' is just too high a proportion for me. I'm keeping with the instore collection. Just to let you know, I lost around £1.40 on an APG womble last night:(:(, due to the Original Sources on mix and match (they bought two different ones) failing to pick up M mbuy on APG. M 2 for £3 (as showing on msm) - but APG compared to 2x £2.20:(. Not too happy as M was the 'winning' comp. and voucher reduced quite significantly. So the Original Source mbuy for M may not work on the APG.

Not that anyone here would ever compare to 2 for £3.00:eek:! (Previous price: £1.10 each or, elsewhere, £2.20 2 for '1'. Reminds me - Kellogg's Crunchy Nut 750g - a savvy buy:( vs T on msm. I would not at all go for this new rip-off buy - now 3 for £6.00:eek::eek:, in other words £2 each and comparing vs paying 43p more for each pack (£1.29 more in total:eek::eek:_pale_) and having you now (I hope not) buying three, as opposed to previous price £1.57 half price. Just needed one pack for that before. "Savvy Buy: you won't find a better offer!" Avoid.)
