The conversation started off with me being concerned that he's not drinking enough during the day. It's been very hot here the last few days. This led to him telling me that if he drinks he needs to wee and therefore use the school toilets which he won't do because they're 'disgusting'. I'm not 100% sure what he means by that but I don't think it's down to worrying about germs. He's not the best at explaining some things clearly, as far as I can make out they're very messy........it's a school with nearly 1000 kids so I suppose that's not that unusual. Whatever he means by 'messy and disgusting' it's enough for him to avoid them.
The problem I have is that I also avoid public toilets wherever possible because I feel exactly the same as you! And with me it is because of germs and multiple people using the same space. He knows this, so it's difficult for me to preach to him that he should be doing something I avoid myselfhe ran rings round me last night
Don't worry, you're not the only one who has hovvered in an impossible position with a handbag dangling from you in a public loo, after using a tissue to open the door, close the lock and touch the flusher:o

I think they are great! No one has to touch them so no one is leaving germs on them for the next person to come along and pick up. I wish more places had them!0 -
