    Morning all.

Nice to sleep in my own bed when we finally got home last night. Not nearly so sunny here as Scotland though.
Haven't yet managed to see a single ball kicked in the World Cup, but no doubt that will have changed by this evening.

    Morning all.
Guess who left her washing on the line last night and is now looking at a soaking wet garden
    Bah!
Anyhow, hope everyone is well. I'm currently sitting at the dining room table with lil stink and I've watched him scoff 2 slices of toast with honey and a banana and is now washing it down with a cuppa. Normally I'm chasing him round the front room trying to wedge something in his mouth. :rotfl: he's on his best behaviour this morning :j

What was the issue with them? I'm curious to know if it's the same issue I have with public toilets :o It totally grosses me out sharing toilets with strangers and it annoys me that they're rarely cleaned to an acceptable standard and some cubicles are so small and crammed with stupid bins so it's almost impossible to avoid your body or bag touching the inside of the cubicle or the germ ridden bin

    Good morning everyone :)

I could have written that post! I have to be absolutely desperate before I can use a public loo. I struggle even to use the ones in work

    I have a plan.

I have found the old door in shed, fixed door back onto bedroom & now I have a room to shut Phyllis in :T litter tray, food, biscuits, freshly made bed :)

I can now leave house & know Dilys is safe today & tomorrow.

Cat sitter can let her out today & then shut her in again tomorrow :T
Just need cat sitter to be able to catch her........

Dilys has left for the day :(
but at least she can return without being ambushed

Sounds like a good plan :)

Safe travels and lots of love to you and FourP :A

    Good morning everyone :)

    Good morning :)

The conversation started off with me being concerned that he's not drinking enough during the day. It's been very hot here the last few days. This led to him telling me that if he drinks he needs to wee and therefore use the school toilets which he won't do because they're 'disgusting'. I'm not 100% sure what he means by that but I don't think it's down to worrying about germs. He's not the best at explaining some things clearly, as far as I can make out they're very messy........it's a school with nearly 1000 kids so I suppose that's not that unusual. Whatever he means by 'messy and disgusting' it's enough for him to avoid them.

The problem I have is that I also avoid public toilets wherever possible because I feel exactly the same as you! And with me it is because of germs and multiple people using the same space. He knows this, so it's difficult for me to preach to him that he should be doing something I avoid myself :o he ran rings round me last night :o
Don't worry, you're not the only one who has hovvered in an impossible position with a handbag dangling from you in a public loo, after using a tissue to open the door, close the lock and touch the flusher :o:o :D

If anyone is in glasgow they are giving away simple face wipes at central station with the metro (i counted 4 different exits covered by 8 staff ;))
