Not so in Poland where they had a mega cold snap
Mind you I did see a few MASSIVE hornets over there a few weeks ago, Gordon Bennett I've never seen anything like it...me and OH and a few of his mates wee stood in the garage doorway and this thing flew up...I've never seen grown men move so fast
Proper hornets are scary  I have been rather pleased to see a few honey bees around this year. I remember commenting to OH last year how few were around.0 -
We have the little flies I nearly ate one earlier.
But I don't have any reed diffusers. Well I do have some BS ones packed away somewhere, just none out at the moment.
Evening all, I have such a hectic social life at the moment.
Been to a Wedding Ceilidh this evening and I couldn't believe it when my favourite fiddler was there. Two nights in a row what a treat.
Blinking hell, it never ceases to amaze me what you will eat!:rotfl:

France '98 was my first world cup
And the last!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Do you know we had a heated but friendly debate in here earlier about 16 & 17 year olds getting a vote in the referendum. My view is that they are the people who will have to live there in the future after what's decided. My friends partner is of the view they aren't mature enough to have a balanced opinion. It was interesting.......:D
That's got nothing to do with anything, I'm just ruminating:rotfl:

I have red lilly beetles for the first time ever hereand the slug population is out of control  as are the garden weeds. We need our cold snaps to keep things under control and we didn't get one
DD2 phoned earlier, she has slugs in her uni house.
They had been over her clothes pile and got in her wardrobe in her shoes.
She can't find out where they are coming in from though. She follows the trails and they come to a dead end.
So if anyone has any tips on getting rid of them would be grateful. She said they are getting in the lounge too. Just thought they do have a cellar, wonder if they are coming up from there. :eek:0
