No money for shopping. But then mr postie put orchard coupons for Romford extra. It's like winning lottery..

Also received 11.00 pound cheque for Venus razor.

Did you manage to get any of the meal deals in TE in the end? I also received vouchers this morning but for Surrey Quays, £17 worth for various departments, no minimum spend :D

    Afternoon all

:hello:I've no chance of catching up with anything at all for the next month:D:rotfl:.

I mentioned Sainsbobs (among lots of other things) earlier. Well, after my rejecting of £3 off £20 (not enough money off;):D) on three separate occasions, the next till spit from the fuel station was... £2 off £20:rotfl::rotfl:.

Well I am definitely not shopping at Sains. for even longer now!! See how you like that one:p:D:D.

I suspect they or Mr Nectar are trying to make me feel regret at what I could have had. If so, it's totally failed - I have no regret at all as I would still have been spending, at best, £7 too much.

It's these beggars (the stores themselves) that ought to be the ones feeling regret:

In fact, Mr S/Mr N have fallen into my trap!!:D It's said that rats feel regret and apparently they pause and look back at what they could have had. That's precisely how the stores need to be treated - like rats:rotfl:! If they are going to be that 'stingy' and offer a meagre £2 off... they should regret my not shopping there at all now for much longer. Need to up your offer;).

(Of course, I've kept the £2 coupon this time, just in case I get a £3 off one again within the same validity date:D.)

The psychological war between me and Mr Sainsbobs:rotfl::rotfl:.

Anyway I went to Morries for the fuel - not going to Mr S again as same price - only to find :naughty:my M has increased the price of unleaded petrol by 1p per litre.

So, big fanfare everyone, price increase of 1p per litre at my Morrisons! (Well, I don't see why, given the fanfares created over fuel price decreases, there cannot or should not be a similar fanfare on them going up.) :rotfl:I might issue a press release to the news media to announce the price at my Morrisons has gone up by 1p/litre. Well, the stores in general issue press releases and try to get their stories into the press so why should it be different now?:rotfl::rotfl:

So I turned round and went... to the Sains. up the road. Where I filled up completely - as they sure to follow? - and decided to forego the 19p in Nectar points in favour of hopefully a lot more later. So not buying from Sains. anymore:rotfl:. Just using Sains., on this occasion, as cheapest fuel in the area and without needing more in Nectars (yes I know very well about T's 20p a litre off that doubtless requires you to pay them much much more on groceries than would ever be saved). Then I came out of the supermarket grounds and... straight into a queue for the traffic lights so probably lost the 1p a litre I saved.:rotfl::rotfl::(:rotfl: (At least this provides 'advice' on here as to how not to do it, how not to save money.)

Obviously an 'in-joke' that's been passing around whilst I've missed it all, so I'll move on...:rotfl:

Later on, I have either a glitch or a failed shop. I noticed some discrepancy instore but it could mess up my shop instead of working in my favour. Results due at around 5.45. If it turns out to be a glitch, it'll be back at some occasion about it! If it fails I'll probably be back but somewhat later (or maybe I'll try and gloss over it:rotfl::D - I'm na bothered, as good womble has just paid for the best part of that shop anyway, nowt for us to compare versus - but shame the Bell's Whisky compares £18 vs £18 rather than being on £10 offer somewhere else - an extra £7.20 on top would not have been turned down:rotfl:).

In the meantime...;) It's even better, or worse:rotfl:, for this next set of matches. Four matches in a row instead of previous 3. So... 5 o'clock all the way through till earlier than normal bedtime:D:rotfl::rotfl: - probably around 4am!:j:j:D:rotfl::(:rotfl::rotfl:

    England 2- Italy 1 maybe?
