My best friend from childhood and her partner are spending the weekend. They've now gone to bed.....lightweights :eek:although to be fair she is heavily pregnant (and over 40!!)
So I spent all day fussing and worrying over EVERYTHING, her partner is very well to do and has never been here before, although Ive met him a few times. As it turns out, it was all very relaxed and we had a fab time
I do have proof that my OH doesn't listen to me though  I have told him all about my friends partner, plenty of times. So over dinner my friend mentioned her partners family and their 'estate'........so he says 'oh Ive been thinking of trading my car in for something bigger, probably an estate'.......*TUT* *SIGH* ** ..........The family has a small estate in Scotland, the sort with houses and land.....not wheels:rotfl::rotfl:
......me, no I wasn't embarassed at all:rotfl:
Do they ever?
That is so funny FC :T in akind of way

It's hard to know the correct response to a 'suitor' possessed with such rapier wit
a) withering glance
b) pitying look then get phone out of handbag
c) punch in the face and have done with it0 -

Are you sure it's not a touch of hayfever? Mine is terrible at the moment and I'm finding it really bad when I've been sat out in the evenings. OH has been a bit sneezy too and he doesn't usually suffer with it. Oh and he doesn't drink prosecco0 -

I don't usually suffer with hayfever, but I've been really snuffly these last few days. No prosecco here either0 -

Pork & chorizo meatballs

Roasted vegetables
Rice and vegetables

Profiteroles
Wines
Red white and rose all worked
Buy in 3s and the extra 10% discount for the wine still comes off
As far as I know the only things that stop it from working are the blueberry tarts and the chocolate mint dessert, so avoid these
Good luck :T
Thanks for my idiots guide... do they only work in the express stores?100 -
