    So far in my email conversation with Virgin Media about picking up a Super Hub from their offices in Hook I am banging my head against a brick wall. The person I am conversing with has stated that an engineer is needed to instal the hub, the website states that we can have one sent out to us for £5.99 postage.

    One way or another we will win, because quite frankly we do not care if we get "supercharged" or not, so we will either get a superhub totally free of charge or we will then turn it around on them and ask for a reduction in our monthly charge.

    Really need a dehumidifier, but they are soo expensive. Been moving the furniture around in the bedroom and noticed the wallpaper felt damp behind the chest of drawers. Used a damp meter 2.9!!!!!!

    That's really high. I'm fairly certain the old unused chimney is leaking but that going to be expensive (more than a dehumidifier) I love old houses but they have loads of problems. I've pulled the wet wallpaper off now so the damp has less to cling to, now to decide whether to remove the lime mortar as well
    I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
