    L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil.

Like a serum but very light weight and non greasy. I have a lot of hair but it's quite fine and flyaway and gets greasy quickly. I do use straightening irons, but I've found this stuff is the most lightweight whilst still managing frizz from humidity etc.

It's about £10 a bottle, but it's a big bottle and expect it will last ages for the amount you need. I got it from Mr S on 33% off.

I second this, it makes a lot of difference to my hair. I got a bottle when it was on offer at Boots for £6-something and it lasts for ages and ages.

Phil Smith Argon Oil Cream. Can only get it from Sainsburys though I think.

Oh,and it's absolute rubbish that you need heat with products to tame or get rid of frizz.I have big naturally curly hair that is prone to frizz.I NEVER EVER use heat on it but the frizz (including the fluffy halo) is fixed with a combination of Phil Smith cream and frizz ease.I can get away with just the cream at times too.

Also, switch to a microfibre towel to dry your hair.Don't use a normal one.Get a cheapy turban towel for £1.

A dry oil. I have the same hair type as you and the only thing that tames it is dry oil. Just put a tiny amount in your hands, warm it up by rubbing your hands and smooth through evenly. And it doesn't leave a greasy feeling at all.

    Thanks for the replies

The reason I said nothing oily is that my hair gets greasy and a lot of the fluffiness is at the top of my head, same with serum

The reason I said no to heat products is that I can't physically use straighteners anymore plus I really can't be doing with the faff, I just wanted something I could put on my hair and then leave it

Thanks for the advice so far

Jackieb, thanks for the link, sadly I've tried/do most of that, I never brush hair when dry and only comb once when I've washed it

Le sigh, guess I'm destined to have crap hair

I can guarantee that dry oil will not make your hair feel greasy.
If I wash my hair in the morning, its greasy by bed time and thats before I used dry oil. Now, when I wash my hair, I rb in some dry oil, it dries nice and smooth. Or if its already dry, I can run it through the ends.
Dry oil has a dry feeling to it, you can't even tell you have a liquid in your hand.

    Which one do you use?

Argon Oil Cream won't make it greasy either tinks. Serum shouldn't go on the top so I understand what you're saying about serums/oils.They're for the lengths.

And really deffo get a microfibre turby towel.Normal towels roughen the hair.
