Well, I thought it was all over. Got a letter off UKCPS today saying words to the effect of:

We issued you with POPLA code which you haven't used. The full amount of £100 is now due for payment immediately.

Now the friendly thing for me to do would be to contact them and advise them of the error of their ways. Or, I could wait for them to attempt to take it further. It would be fun if they sent me court papers. Or, I could complain to BPA stating that they are harassing me.

Will have to have a think about which way to go with this..

I think the time has come for you to just email the BPA and show them the letter and point out the BPA Code of Practice breach:

4.2 Significant failure in communications to customers
4.21 Major failure to maintain a fair and professional operation.

It's probably caused by this issue but then this can be part of your complaint, because it was of their doing:

Tried to complain to POPLA but code didn't work.
    Got new code

Don't tell me they are back to their old tricks?

    Deliberate wrong code?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
