Mine took 4-6 weeks. You can't start until you have passed and provided you pass it doesn't really matter if you miss your start date. The alternative would be to redo the whole recruitment process which would take a lot longer.0

Mine for the NHS took a few days. If you make a note of the reference number on the form then you can check online as to where it is in the process. I checked mine just a couple of days later and it said it had been posted to me already.

The certificate should be sent to you and not to the employer even though the employer sent it in. They used to get a copy too but now you have to take it to the employer to show them.

I have no idea as I was sent for it by my job centre advisor, they have been extremely mysterious about the whole thing!0
