royal armouries in leeds is free and good for a visit. kids might like the elephants and horses statues etc

bagshaw museum near batley is ok as well and free. there is a nice garden next to it

Dont know if I am posting this in correct place but we have been Hi-life members for a few years now and find it brilliant. You pay for the card but soon get your money back when you start using it. You get a directory with lots of pubs ands restaurants in and you just book saying you are 'High life' and the cheapest of the two meals up to three courses is free. Check out the web site for details if you are interested. www.hi-life.co.uk We have the Yorkshire card and on our last renewal got the North west card free as a bonus.
