Parking Eye Prestatyn

Hi all,

Just after some advice. I have received a PCN from Parking Eye stating that I parked longer than the allowed 3hrs in their Shopping Centre Car Park. They have a photo of me driving in and driving out.

I was actually there for 3hrs and 49minutes. I have card charges to prove I was there shopping, but I had taken my disabled Mother in law shopping. She struggles to walk but likes to do so for exercise so we took a stroll round a few of the shops before resting at the Tesco Cafe, then finishing our shopping at Tesco.

How do they expect a disabled person to walk round all their shops in less than three hours?

I am going to appeal, but I'm not sure on what exactly to say.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Kelly.

just appeal using the template in the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the forum

add a note saying that a passenger in the car is disabled and so is protected under the EA 2010 so you expect the charge to be cancelled

also scan the shopping receipts and add them as proof of patronage

send a similar EA 2010 complaint to the landowner or retailer (tesco ?) and insist the ticket is cancelled too

do NOT tell them who was driving , so no "I parked up for blah blah" etc

all appeals and letters to be done in the "third party"

"the driver did this , the driver parked up" etc
