    Hello everyone. Hope you're well.
Big moment next month when after 10 years on the DMP the total outstanding finally drops below 50k !!!

PPI journey is just about done and now I have just made F&F offers to all my creditors so remaining 9 years until Debt free are probably going to be 4 years max !!

It's great to see new people posting with stories of opening up and contacting Stepchange etc. I promise it does get easier. After all these years I barely hear from Creditors.

If you are reading this thread and feel alone, you're not.
Tell someone about your debt and take the first steps to getting your life and finances back on track. It does get easier :)

Yeah NewcyPaul, looking at 4 years, that's brill news

    Good inspiration too :T

Ll***s do make me laugh.....after countless conversations with them and even a letter saying they are stopping interest for 6 months, I get a letter saying they are applying 29p interest to my OD this month! :rotfl: Why???

How are things for you Teq?

    Hey Sazzie,

Things are ok, but I'm getting myself stressed! I finally told my mum - she's finally calmed down about it all and understands that I am dealing with it. I've told her not to worry about things, but now I'm worrying.

I'm making my £1 token payments, but I'm not officially on a DMP with StepChange....I keep seeing people writing about being online with them, but I'm not. What am I missing here?

Did you go onto the website and go through the debt remedy tool?

If you have you will have been allocated a debt remedy plan number and then you can log in and check your payments, balances etc. once your plan gets underway.

Those on DMPs through Stepchange: What email address have you had the most luck in getting a reply from? I sent an email to the address on the "your DMP is all set up" letter (debtsolutionservices@stepchange.org) a week ago but haven't had a response yet. I was looking through the booklet they sent and found another email address (client@stepchange.org) and yet another one on the back (client.service@stepchange.org)!
