Thanks,

Thanks for that, but I have already posted them now, sent the credit card one to the address on the statement and the loan one to our branch and hope they will pass them on. SC will be in touch with them any day now, so hopefully all will be well.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I really wish I had found you guys earlier - you seem like such a lovely friendly group.
Thanks you in advance for any advice or tips xx
We are a lovely bunch! Glad you found us. As to dropping your payments whilst you are on maternity leave - well there's not much they can do about it. Just let SC know and they will sort it for you.
Congrats Sazzie, your are the star of January!DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Big Hello to Ploppy, James, DavesD and everybody else who is new on this thread!
:wave::wave::wave:
It wasn't so many months ago when I was the new person and I was going through the same set-up nerves as you all..
It was a little bumpy at first, but things quickly settled down and everything is going swimmingly now.
I am sure you will all be posting on here in a few months time saying exactly the same

Yes you forget that they all probably have someone on here as do sc etc... Oh well i'm sure we only ever say positive things about them...!!
In a way it's quite refreshing to know that at least some creditors are reading.
Threads like this should be an important feedback mechanism for them (as they're unlikely to be getting open & honest feedback from their 'collections' customers!), and I'd like to think they will be using what they read on here to improve the way they look after their customers with debt difficulties...
Of course, it's just as likely that they are reading to see if anybody is dishing the dirt on them... lol! :rotfl:

Quick random question: when you have multiple debts with the same creditor, do they normally combine them into a single debt including for selling on to a DCA? I have several cards with one creditor and I can see this getting quite complicated if they stay separate. I only wrote one letter to them for my DMP, stating all the account numbers and separate and combined debts and planned payments.
Thanks

Thanks, yes this Barclays as well (Barclaycard).
Also does anyone (maybe our creditor lurker friends?!) know if creditors tend to blacklist you for life after being on DMP with them?0 -
One of my creditors is only a few hundred pounds which I can probably ask someone to pay off for me and avoid default. Is this worth doing?0
