i didn't have to pay anything. they (insolvency practitioners) took my tax from my salary (to cover their costs they said) and that's it. they did that to the end of the tax year which therefore finished this april. i was BK june to dec last year.
hhhhhmmmm ---- being quite sceptical with everything at the moment --- one thing came to my mind! i wonder if inland revenue will come to me one day nagging that i haven't paid my taxes.....bring it all on!0 -
so you got away with paying them back nothings

Well i hope the same will happen to me

well i think it all depends how much money you got left monthly after the necessary costs been taken away. in my case it was +-0 and therefore they just didn't have anything to take. you know when that official receiver makes the telephone interview -- he goes through the list of your "comings & goings", the page you had to fill when you filled all the forms to leave to court when you applied? if that shows that you simply do not have any money, that must be it. i filled that with the people from citizen advice bureau who know excatly how much people generally spend on gas and food and all sorts of stuff like that. they are very good there. just a tricky place to get an appointment to though...0

Then you are most unlikely to be given an IPO/IPA. If you have no siezable assetts, then your 'debts' will have been, effectively, written off, and you will have been given a fresh start.
If, during your bankruptcy period, you find a job, you MUST inform the OR, and dependent upon the amount of disposable income, after normal living expenses, the OR may impose an IPO/IPA which you would pay for three years.
If your circumstances do not change, during your br period, then you are unlikely to receive an IPO.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
