Asda issues

Hi folks, I would love a little bit of feedback from anyone else who has had the joy of dealing with Asda Direct Customer Service please.

I bought a table and chairs set from Asda which was delivered on 29/03, when I tried to put it together two weeks later we realised two parts were missing from the table, meaning it couldn't be used.

Since then I have been TRYING to get the parts delivered. I was told they're be sent straight out, nothing has arrived. I must have called Asda on at least 12 separate occasions now. I have been told three times the items had been sent - but they clearly hadn't as nothing arrived. I was promised call backs, tracking details and various other updates and at no point have they done what they said they would. I have called Asda every time myself to chase it up. Finally today they said they'd collect the old table and chairs and send out another, so collection should be on Monday.

I asked to escalate the matter to their complaints team as I am really annoyed by their horrendous customer service and was told that they log their compliant and don't do anything with it, I was also advised that I couldn't speak to a manager (nor would they get one to ring me back) but they would keep a record of the complaint on file but no action would be taken. I am so annoyed by the fact we bought a table and chairs to use over the summer and we've missed half of it.

Has anyone else had issues like this with Asda Direct? I am disgusted and quite shocked by how horrendous their customer service actually is.

Just reject it for a refund and buy elsewhere.

Asda direct settled my complaint on the day I brought it up, so it would possibly be the manufacture doesn't have the parts and are stone walling the CS, so they don't have an answer for you.
