If price is your primary factor then this thread is rendered useless. You buy the cheapest one!
Now now that would be defeatist and pessimistic my friend
Flexibility. I have upto 3k that I would be spend
It's not as simple as 'buy the cheapest one!'
I'd rather spend 3k on an immaculate car with fsh Cambelt change and lower mileage, than 2k on something that had the opposite0 -

id rather a car that's has travelled 140k with loads of receipts upto date service history cambelt change and been looked after than a low miles sunday car that when pushed hard for the first time isn't going to fall to pieces due to excess wear due to low miles and cost the best part of a grand in its first year I own it.0 -

The 3dr astra is more aesthetically pleasing than a 3dr focus any day. You have a screw loose if you think otherwise. The 3dr focus is the same shape as 5dr minus 2drs. It is also far more common than an Astra. The 1.6 astra is also more powerful than a 1.6 focus and has better looking interiors
What is your choicr? Mse favourites (volvo, skoda, mondeo, sierra, hyundai)?
However they're both as dull as dishwater to drive.
If you enjoy sitting in a sea of Chinese plastic, either car is fine - as long as it looks good, right?0 -

Nice to know that my 2007 astra with 98k has been well run with fsh then, isn't?
We were never talking Sunday mileage cars, in the first place, were we?0 -
Oh and the 2895 car that was going to be reduced to 2600
Well, I got a bit more knocked off it:rotfl:
Looks better than most hatches today. Love the 3dr coupe shape and half leather sports seats
The 1.8vvt engine certainly packs a punch
Always good to not take advice from Sunday mechanics and 'home traders' on here
Over and out of this thread :beer:0 -
Sounds like someone has developed an attitude problem between the original post and now0

People with plenty of knowledge and experience give sincere views and opinions, but this isn't good enough for the OP. What a revolting person you must be!Je suis sabot...0
