Lovely day here so we went up to the wood yard to look at some full size gates for the side of the house.
The one that I like is £115 but it is really solid, four times the thickness of a Wickes one and hopefully it will last for many years, so I need to save a bit more dosh, because I want the bathroom done first.
DH thinks that he has a kidney stone on the move ouchins, so he has taken a few co-codamol and is having a nap before going back to work.
I have been washing flower pots since we got back. It is a pain having to tape gloves to my op hand to keep it clean though so that I can carry on re-potting seedlings and start some new batches of veggies.
Congratulations to Rachel
and Gonzo
Off to wash more pots so BFN xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

All quiet in here today so I thought I should post even though there's not a lot of OS happening in this household. 😱
Had a lovely and challenging drive up north today which I won't be doing again. Because I had to go to Doune (outside Callander) I took the alternative route north and was enjoying it all the way to Crianlarich - and then had a 21 mile section down a single track B road along Loch Awe. Spectacular scenery but OMG what a nightmare. Got here a little frazzled and lots of diesel lighter. Went straight for a Chinese takeaway and a bottle of wine out the fridge.
Just been watching the D day shows and then GBM from St Paul's. My dear dad was there on D day +6 as a Royal Engineer. He'd be 99 if still alive.
Anyway, got series three of a Dexter to watch this weekend. A new fire surround to agree with the carpenter and brass doorknobs to fit. Found a great supply of seasoned beech wood locally too so need to collect some and fork out some dosh. See...not much OS, there's always next week.
Might be a bit late today but I still offer my good vibrations to everyone.0 -

            Evening all,
Late one from me, had a busy day today. Up early with dh and a quick shower and breakfast then had quite a few errands to run.
First paid in at the bank, and posted a card at the post office.
Then did the shopping, including a trip to home bargains for toiletries, I find them much cheaper there, Aldi for the food shop, Tesco for the bits I can't get at Aldi then a flying visit to Asda Living to try on bras. Nothing felt right so gave it up as a bad job.
Home to put the shopping away and hang out the washing, then a quick lunch and off to pick up DGS who is just back from his hols in Spain.
Brought him home and gave him a snack and then sat with my throbbing leg up until I went to pick up dd from the station.
By this time dh and ds3 were back and it was time to organise tea.
I've just sat down, I'm shattered. I must deserve a Cinzano and lemonade after that lot.
Mrs Lurchwalker glad you enjoyed your visit with the baby xx
Tomorrow after a leisurely start we are going to clear the shed and garage, ready for our visitors.
Have a good evening all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
