Hi there,
I have a Virgin Media tv, phone, internet package etc with a credit limit.
I am just wondering if something like this should appear on your credit report (it currently does not)?
Thank you for your assistance
Jonathan.

Hello,
My Virgin Media Fibre Broadband appears on my Experian £2 report but not on my Experian or Noddle files.
Whether it should appear or not will have to be answered by someone else as I've no idea if it should or shouldn't.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
My Virgin Media phone, TV and broadband package appears on my Equifax £2 file.
Also, I have a non-contract pay monthly SIM with them that also appears?!0 -
I have VM TV, Broadband and Phone, appears on Equifax, not on Callcredit/Noddle, but I don't know whether it does on Experian or not (I can't access that for free so haven't pulled a report since I moved from Sky!).
For info, it shows as Communications, with a credit limit of Zero, same as my mobile phone contract always has.
EDIT: Not sure what you mean by you having a credit limit? I haven't been advised of one by Virgin (or TMobile/Orange whom I've had phone contracts from), but I've never been blocked or adversely reported for any reason regardless of bill size, they just take the whole lot on payment date.0 -
All virgin media customers have a credit limit on their accounts0

And virgin do also report to credit reference agencies0

Thanks for the responses. I've only checked CallCredit and it's not on there, but sounds like it will likely be on Equifax.0

I'm guessing if it's a service which you have billed (and therefore have an opportunity to owe money) then it's normal, my previous O2 contract reported to CRAs and so does Three, my current mobile company.
I had an ntl pay as you go dial up account a few years back and discovered that they'd written an entry on my credit file for it. Yes, even a payg account! :eek:0 -

Best not to register PAYG accounts. Then they wouldn't have been able to do this. In my book it's misuse of the credit referencing systems if they're recording data about you for a service that doesn't involve any sort of credit.0 -

Hi All i have been working with my Experian Credit report getting it all sorted aswell as my noddle one. I thought when things have became good enough ill get the Equifax one aswell. Now things seem to be getting better on my credit report i got my Equifax one Today to see that Virgin Media is on it but not on any of the others. It says i owe £379 No Default- No Credit Limit and has been updated Every Month as up to date. It says Start Date Feb 1999 and updated 6th June 14. On calling Virgin Media they say i owe them £379 from 2000 and it was handed to a debt recovery agent in 2001 but i have had nothing. DO I NEED TO PAY THIS from 13 years ago ???? and why has it not caught up with me yet and why are they still showing on my credit report as Up To Date and NO DEFAULT ??? at a really old address ??
Any Help ????0
