PPI letter

I have just received a letter from the Bank telling me they may have mis-sold me a ppi. But although they give me a Policy number, they do not give me any other details. I have searched through all my paperwork and cannot find this Policy. How can I track it down?.. I have been given a 8 page document to complete before 12th June! Not giving me much time!

The letter you've been sent is just an invitation to complain if you have reason to. It's not an admission of liability and it's largely to set in in place a time-bar on any future complaint you might make.
