Motorcycle Ticket

Heres a fun one for the evening.

I parked in a coucil carpark for about 30 minutes this evening, sensibly parked and a carpark I have used before with no issues (it was also nearly empty at the time).
Being on a motorbike (no 'designated' motorcycle bays) I parked in bay but did not buy a ticket.

Long story short, I come back to find a Penalty Charge Notice stuck to my wing mirror.
I was under the impression (and have never been proven otherwise) that motor cycles do not need to pay in a pay and display carpark.

Can anyone give any advice on this, it has been issed by North Devon County Council, there is no mentio of a private firm on the ticket.

Oh and there was another bike or two in the carpark, also in car bays.

best advice is to post on pepipoo and upload or link to a copy of the ticket , both sides, but cover any personal info

The trouble with motorbikes is that when you put a ticket on it some !!!!!! nicks it.

And even if some towrag doesn't nick a ticket, the wind most likely will (which is partly why I thought motorbikes were exempt)

Anyway, I will post a copy of it on pepipoo and see what they say, I'll also be going back to the carpark tomorrow to read though the sign and see if it says anything about bikes on that.
