Ideas for Deep Wardrobe

We have a deep alcove in our bedroom that we would like to use to create a fitted wardrobe. Only issue is that it is quite deep and I'm struggling to work out what to do with the space to make sure it's used efficiently as we are somewhat lacking in storage space! Standard wardrobes seem to be circa 60cm deep, which I assume is the width of a typical coat hanger + item of clothing.
Our space is a metre squared so we would have extra space front to back once we have included a clothes rail. Should we have the clothes rail at the back and maybe include some storage on the back of the doors? Any ideas are welcome.

We had a deep alcove, and put two hanging rails - one at the top with a storage shelf above and one in the middle(measure with your longest top to see how high it needs to be) with a storage shelf above. we had sliding mirrored doors.0
