Wonder if Tixy or Fermi can help or anyone else for that matter:D
I have 2 CCJ's due to disappear in a few months. I have settled them both in full yrs ago and noticed that they are still showing as outstanding on my files so outbof pride I wanted them to be shown as satisfied.
I followed the steps as given in on the forums thank you :T thhis morning I had a phone call from the county court today re the CCJ and during the conversation I was informed that if a CCJ is part of a bankruptcy it will not be shown as satisfied. I was wondering if this is correct
I actually contacted the creditor Link Financial after the call and they actually confirmed I had a zero balance on my account and all was settled, they will send me a letter to that effect asap. So I can actually pass this onto the courts and get the certs to update my files. I don't think much will happen to my rating as I have a bankruptcy showing until 12/2015 but its a matter of pride :rotfl:

Strictly, under the rules of the register, that is correct.
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2005/3595/made(3) Where it comes to the attention of the appropriate officer that the debt has been satisfied more than one month from the date of the judgment, that officer shall send a request to the Registrar to endorse the entry as to the satisfaction of the debt.
and“satisfied”, in relation to a debt, means that the debt has been paid in full, and “satisfaction” is to be construed accordingly;
Now when included in a bankruptcy, it has NOT been paid in full, so if they stick to the letter of the regulations it cannot be marked as satisfied.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thank you for the reply, luckily I have paid these in full, in fact more that the original Judgement (with interest added)
That's a point can they charge interest on a CCJ?
So I will be getting the certs as they have been paid in full even though they were part of my bankruptcy.I love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0 -
