Replacing an oven door

Hoping for some advice. Last night I opened my oven door and it came away and shattered on the floor. I suspect that when my partner was fiddling with the oven the other day, he didn't put the door back on properly.

So I'm trying to purchase a replacement, but I'm struggling to find what I'm looking for. The oven is a Lamona LAM3300, searching on the internet comes up with a big list of components, rather than one whole oven door.

Which bits do I need? I've rescued the door handle and the inner glass panel which didn't shatter. The external part of the door is ruined, would that be the 'outer door glass'? I can't figure out if that's the front panel or not.

Any help much appreciated, as I'm out of my depth here.

I've bound to have missed out some important information, if anyone thinks they may be able to point me in the right direction, let me know what else you would need to know.

    Thanks in advance!

perhaps a call to lamona customer services might be an idea, they might be able to tell you whether they could supply a new door as a whole

Sounds like par for the course, I get the blame for everything that goes wrong in my house.icon7.gif

That looks pretty similar to my Hotpoint.
In the picture on your link the bottom of the oven glass is towards you and, pretty close to the corners, you can just about see a couple of bits of metal. If it’s the same as the Hotpoint they are brackets which take the screws to attach the metal part of the door.
Towards the top there are 2 holes in the glass for the handle and there will be 2 more brackets (or one big one) on the other side, again to attach the metal part of the door.
I find the trickiest bit is actually getting the door off the oven but once that’s done lay the door, glass side down, remove 4 screws and lift off the metal door.
Then remove 2 more screws to take off the handle.
Clean everything whilst its in bits then re-assemble onto the new glass.
It really is that easy, just 6 screws and the job’s done.
