Hello.

About to put an offer on buying a property with solar panels on roof.

Are buildings insurance policies now including solar panels or do they have their own stand-alone policy?

Are they expensive to insure or have problems in getting cover?

They are usually routinely covered at no extra cost under buildings cover (though you need to be sure you have included their replacement cost when calclating the sum to be insured)
