Travel Insurance

I booked a classic long trip travel insurance with the Post Office because I will be staying there for 6 months but I wanted to know if it will cover me for other trips abroad during this time period, say if I wanted to visit friends in Australia or Singapore? I had assumed it would but I am thinking now that there is a good chance it doesn't

Policy Level: Classic
Area of Travel: Worldwide excluding USA, Canada, Caribbean
Departure Date: 26/04/2014
Return Date: 31/10/2014
Cover Type: Individual

Assuming the policy wording isn't clear you need to get clarification off the insurer.

Don't rely on any answers you get from a forum over such an important issue. You can't refer the FOS to what it says here if you find out the hard way you got the wrong advice!
  • I agree with Quentin about your Singapore travel. Better yet, get a legal advisor to look at the contract.
