Credit file advice please

Hi there,

My credit file is looking rather good at present apart from one entry of a Wonga loan.
I defaulted on an agreement last year and missed several payments.
The credit file shows two negative factors
1 - the account is classed as delinquent
2 - there are recent missed payments showing (lots of red circles for the previous months info)

I am now in a position to clear this and I would like to know opinions please. Would I be better to clear it in full immediately (this would mean the account is showing as settled/satisfied- I'm not sure which- but would still show lots of red circles - late payments in the previous years worth of payments
OR
would I be better off making regular payments for the next year to clear it so that the payments history is showing green positive circles?
Either way it will be paid in full. I am not looking to get credit in the near future but am wondering the best way to 'clean up' this solitary blemish on my credit file!

Thanks in advance x
