Can you claim bank loans
Comments
-
None of this was mentioned in your first post - anything else you left out?No I was approached by an IT training company and they advised on getting a loan from Barclays which they administered in order to do the course
I wasn't asked about my employment status at the time
Then after 1 year the company went into administration and then Barclays suddenly called in the loan eventhough I wasn't due originally to pay the loan back until after 2 years when the loan was then due to be started to payback after the course was due to finish.
I originally was just starting to pay the interest only for about 8-9 months as the cost of the loan started to mount up. Barclays did not give me any other options apart to start paying loan back asap.
I was given no other option to pay to do this course other than take out a loan which the IT training company advised was the only way to pay and they arranged the loan.
Hope that helps0 -
Did the course actually get supplied?
Was the loan a conditional agreement for provision of the course?
Find out. If the answers are no and yes then there might be milage in a section 75 claim.0
