As they have now defended you will not be able to proceed any further online and the claim will be transferred from Northampton (where all MCOL claims start) to your local county court and a hearing date will be set.

You may or may not have to fill out an allocation questionnaire, and any further documents you may need to send your court will tell you about and give each party a date to submit the documents by.

All correspondance will come to you in the post, the first thing you will receive is the notice of transfer, as its transferred to your local court.

    Hope this helps,

No it's not simple for everyone else. Most claims do get defended these days, that doesn't mean it will actually go to court.

If your claim was for more than £1,500, then the Allocation Questionnaire will cost you a further £100, but this is reclaimable from the bank as well. It is well possible though that the bank agrees to pay your money back before you even get that far.
