Contacting Great Universal?

I have been trying to contact Great Universal customer service over the last 2 days regarding a faulty item. All of their lines are stating to be to be busy and unable to take any calls, this is every time of the day!
Anyone know whats going on?

This happened to me nearly 2 weeks ago, trying to track down an item I had ordered. The company is part of a group which also includes Kays and Littlewoods.Since being taken over their customer service has gone way downhill.I run my club over the internet but as you say, there are times you need to ring.So i can't help. You could try emailing them but i did that and still got no reply. Can't believe they are still refusing to answer.

If the item is faulty can you not just send it back or is it too big to go back via the post office?

You still need to contact them to let them know you are returning a faulty item. They are part of the Littlewoods Shop direct group now, basically Kays, Kays Lifestyle, Littlewoods,Littlewoods Even More, LX Direct,Great Universal, Great Universal Essentials,Marshall Ward and Additions are all dealt with by the same "optimum contact Solutions".

Best time to try and get through is first thing or mid day, try to avoid peak times.
If you send something back and they havent been informed and it goes missing on return, they may cause problems.

The item is a reclining chair which is the second replacement and this one is also faulty!
I have been phoning all day with no luck, does anyone know the mailing address for Great Universal? It looks like this is the only option left for me.
