    In debts it falls down because it doesn't calculate interest on credit cards and loans. For example you have a CC balance of £800 and you enter a payment of £100 the remaining balance is calculated as £700 whereas the balance is actually more than that due to the interest. The only ways I found to rectify it is manually add the interest as a spend or manually edit the balance every month. But manually editing amounts in the sub categories is mainly how YNAB works.
